Rental Information

1. Rental Eligibility
Drivers must meet Rentium's age and driving licence requirements. Additional conditions may apply depending on the driver’s age, vehicle category and rental details.

2. Driver Age
Drivers aged 21–24 may be subject to a Young Driver Fee.
Drivers aged 25–65 are not subject to an age-related fee.
Drivers aged 66–75 may be subject to a Senior Driver Fee.

3. Booking & Confirmation
All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by Rentium. Submitting a booking request does not constitute a confirmed reservation.

4. Vehicle Availability
Rentium reserves the right to provide a comparable vehicle when the selected vehicle is unavailable, subject to availability and rental conditions.

5. Payment & Security Deposit
Payment terms and any applicable security deposit will be confirmed according to the vehicle, rental period and booking conditions.

6. Fuel Policy
The vehicle must be returned according to the fuel conditions agreed at the time of rental.

7. Optional Extras & Protection
Optional extras and protection packages are available subject to availability and confirmation by Rentium.

Additional Driver — €5/day

Cross-Border Fee — €50/rental

Child Seat — €5/day

Booster Seat — €5/day

Navigation System — €8/day 

Protection options and applicable charges are shown during the booking request process and may vary depending on the selected vehicle, rental period and rental conditions.

8. Pick-up & Return
Pick-up and return arrangements are confirmed according to the reservation.

Standard Operating Hours: 08:00–22:30
Out-of-Hours Service: Additional fee applies

Pick-up or return outside standard operating hours may be subject to an additional fee. 

9. Cross-Border Travel
Cross-border travel must be requested in advance and approved by Rentium. Additional fees and conditions may apply.

10. Cancellation & Changes
Cancellation or modification conditions may vary depending on the reservation and rental circumstances. Customers should contact Rentium as early as possible regarding any changes.

11. Vehicle Use & Responsibility
The renter is responsible for using the vehicle responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws and the rental agreement. Any restrictions or additional responsibilities will be communicated when applicable.

12. Final Rental Agreement
Specific rental conditions, charges, responsibilities and applicable requirements will be confirmed with the customer before or at the time of vehicle handover.

13. Traffic Fines & Violations
The renter is responsible for any traffic fines, parking charges or other violations incurred during the rental period. Any related administrative costs may also apply.

14. Accidents, Damage & Breakdown
In the event of an accident, damage or vehicle breakdown, the renter must contact Rentium as soon as possible and follow the instructions provided. The renter should not arrange repairs or make decisions regarding the vehicle without prior approval from Rentium.

15. Required Documents
At vehicle pick-up, the renter must present:

• Valid driving licence

• Passport or ID

• Physical credit card

All documents and the credit card must be in the renter’s name. Debit cards and online/electronic payment methods are not accepted.

16. International Driving Permit

An International Driving Permit (IDP) is required when the renter’s driving licence is issued in a non-Roman alphabet, such as Arabic, Chinese, Japanese or Cyrillic. 

17. Tires

All vehicles are equipped with all-season tires. 

18. General Administration Fee
A €50 general administration fee may apply in cases such as:

• Lost vehicle documents

• Lost vehicle key

• Off-road driving

This fee is not covered by any insurance or protection package.
